Les Gréchons et Foutrières is a pretty plot classified as 1er cru, exposed to the rising sun on a white marl soil with limestone containing many oyster shells.
The harvest is manual, low yields and the fermentation takes place in Burgundy pieces in the most traditional way.
Eye: Pretty golden color, limpid and brilliant. There are many tears.
Nose: Very expressive on white and yellow fruits, white flowers such as acacia as well as notes of toasted hazelnuts.
Palate: Nice attack on the palate, round, fruity with a very balanced mid-palate between mellowness and freshness. The finish is long, fresh, fruity and very mineral.
Look at the wine:
The color, the shine, the nuances, the dress.
Smell the wine:
First glass nose immobile, the second nose after agitation and aeration.
Taste the wine:
The attack, the development in the mouth and finally the final note.
