Domaine Charles Audoin Marsannay Les Longeroies - Red 2016

“Les Longeroies” is a beautiful climate in Marsannay. Very nice exposure of this plot in the South-East, halfway up the slope and well drained. This is the beginning of the Côte de Nuits and the limestone is already present on the marls, which always favors the finesse and elegance of the tannins.

Eye: Garnet color of beautiful intensity, limpid and brilliant.

Nose: Very expressive on small red fruits and in particular morello cherry, complemented by sweet spices as well as aromas of violets.

Palate: Nice attack on the palate, fruity and round. The mid-palate is well balanced and the tannins are silky and smooth. The finish is long, very red fruits and very smooth.
