The Médoc terroir benefits on one side from the Atlantic influences of the nearby ocean, on the other from the presence of the Gironde estuary, on a very well-drained gravelly hilltop soil.
Composed equally of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, aged for 18 months in barrels, a third of which are new, this bottle reaches maturity and will remain so for many years.
Appearance: Pretty dark garnet color
Nose: Very nice bouquet where aromas of red and black fruits come together as well as sweet and slightly vanilla spices.
Palate: Nice attack on the palate, all round but with good structure. The tannins are present but silky and well rounded. The finish is long, fresh and very fruity.
